10 Holidays You Didn't Know Existed

There’s not only an app for the most bizarre things, but there’s likely also books and entire holidays surrounded around them too. With that said, we’ve prepared a list of local and international holidays that are celebrated, most of which you likely have never heard of. Ranging from Bonza Bottler Day and Buy Nothing Day to One Cent Day and Elephant Appreciation Day, this list includes a perfect balance of weirdness and unique days that you can participate in.

Bonza Bottler Day

Bonza Bottler is celebrated every month on the day in the month that coincides with the number of the month (January 1st, February 2nd, March 3rd, etc.). Started by Elaine Fremont in 1985, Fremont was said to have created it after realizing there were no special occasions to celebrate every month.

International Nose Picking Day

International Nose Picking Day is celebrated annually on April 23rd under an International Observance. Although the day isn’t linked to a creator, it’s still a day celebrated worldwide.
